A mood-board is an arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc. intended to evoke or project a particular style or concept. This mood board is to show the theme of the teaser trailer that we are going to produce. As our teaser trailer was based on supernatural and visions I decided to put some visuals of an eye to connote the theme of the trailer. Some of the visuals are similar to the shots that we have done which makes the mood-board even more relevant. As the main theme was horror I had to keep very close to it. For instance, on the top left is an image of a woman being dragged which is very similar to the mother in our film who will be dragged by someone in the teaser it gives a sense of ambiguity and keeps the audience stick to the film. The text on the top right quotes "you won't believe her eyes". This indicates suspense for the audience about what is wrong with the girl. It creates a sense of scare for the audience wanting to go and watch more to find out. The candles burnt out are conventions of horror which connotes maybe the hope that the character has or just the end of something. The mood board mainly consists of images of eyes as our teaser revolves around eyes and visions.
